BALCH SPRINGS, Texas — The Balch Springs Police Department says a toddler was ejected and a person was killed in a car crash Thursday on Beltline Road.
According to police, the car was believed to be traveling at a high rate of speed prior to crashing.
Police say the toddler has been taken to a local hospital and the other person died at the scene.
Chopper footage shows a portion of Beltline Road closed off at the intersection of I-20.
