SANSOM PARK, Texas — Police have located one of the parents of a young boy who was found in Tarrant County on Wednesday evening, according to a release from White Settlement Police Department.
Sansom Park police responded around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday to the 3100 block of La Junta Street at the Sansom Ridge Apartments, where the child was found. Officers went door to door looking for the boy's parents, but could not find them.
Police said the child could not tell the officers his name or where he lives.
On Thursday morning, the child remained in state custody, and officials were asking for the public's help to find the child's parents.
Shortly before noon on Thursday, police said they located one of the child's parents.
