DALLAS — One Dallas-based photographer is honoring North Texas high school graduates with free senior photos.

In 2023, Dunice Harrell, founder of Dunice Harrell Photography started a program called G.O.A.L. It stands for “The Gift of a Lifetime.”

Through her program, Harrell provides free senior photos to Dallas-Fort Worth students facing financial challenges.

"Our mission is rooted in the belief that every senior graduate, regardless of financial circumstances, deserves the opportunity to commemorate their achievements as they embark on the next chapter of their lives."

Harrell says she works closely with local schools and counselors to identify students who need help the most.

“I found out that the mainstream photography companies were charging anywhere from $500 to $2,000 for senior portraits,” Harrell told WFAA in a March 2024 interview. “I realized that there were people out there who really could not afford photography sessions.”

Now Harrell is looking for donations to sponsor 2025 senior graduates through the GOAL programs GoFundMe campaign. Harrell provides regular updates on the program's achievements and student impacts.

If you know a deserving student and want to nominate them, you can send an email to hello@duniceharrell.com.
