SOMERVELL COUNTY There are new details on the weekend security scare at Comanche Peak Nuclear Power Plant.

The two-reactor facility near Glen Rose was locked down early Saturday after a man crashed his vehicle into an outer barrier.

The Somervell County Sheriff's Office has now ruled out any kind of plot targeting the plant; they believe the driver who was taken into custody had been drinking.

Lumanant, the company that operates Comanche Peak, issued an unusual event alert to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission at 2:25 a.m. Saturday, about 30 minutes after the incident. The emergency alert was terminated at 3:10 a.m., according to documentation on the NRC Web site.
