UPDATE: 2-year-old missing in El Paso found safe, AMBER Alert canceled

EL PASO, Texas — UPDATE: The AMBER Alert has been discontinued. The boy was found safe according to the El Paso Police Department. The child's name has been edited out.

An AMBER Alert has been issued for a missing 2-year-old who was last seen in El Paso.

The child was believed to be with Miguel Montoya. At this point, we don’t know the relationship between the two.

The child has brown hair and brown eyes and is around two-and-a-half feet tall. He was wearing a Spiderman long-sleeved shirt and blue jeans.

Police said he was last seen along Kingfish Ct. in El Paso Wednesday at around 8:45 p.m.

Miguel Montoya is 30 years old, stands around 5 feet 6 inches tall, and weighs around 130 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.

Thursday morning, police said they were looking for a 2020 gray Dodge Journey. That afternoon, they changed that to be a 2008 red Chevy Cobalt with Texas license plate TRH6179.

Anyone with information is asked to call the El Paso Police Department at 915-316-7134.
