HENDERSON COUNTY, Texas — An 11-year-old East Texas girl a the center of an AMBER Alert was found safe Friday night.
According to the Henderson County Sheriff's Office, Mia James, 11, left her home on County Road 3925, just north of Athens, Thursday and was believed to have been picked up by an unknown subject.
Henderson County Sheriff Botie Hillhouse said around 11:30 p.m. Friday she was found at a game room in Mabank. The AMBER Alert has been discontinued.
