DALLAS — Rescue crews plucked a man from the Trinity River Tuesday after police say he fell into the water.
Dallas Fire-Rescure (DFR) received a call around 6:30 p.m. after a man was seen in the river near the 800 block of the Houston Street Viaduct.
DFR crews located the man and pulled him from the water within minutes of arriving at the scene. The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment in stable condition, police said.
This comes one day after a man's body was recovered from the river after a kayaking incident. Monday's water rescue happened on the East Fork of the Trinty River between Lake Lavon and Lake Ray Hubbard.
North Texas authorities have provided safety tips and reminders for boaters, kayakers, hikers, and swimmers after a string of lake emergencies.
