ARLINGTON -- Fire investigators are trying to determine what caused an apartment fire in Arlington.
Overnight flames broke out at the Silverwood Apartments, west of SH 360 off Avenue J. Fire officials say a man jumped from a balcony to safety. He hurt his arm but is expected to be okay.
Four units were affected by the fire and residents were evacuated.
"They evacuated some people and upgraded it to second alarm assignment," Chief Randy Schmelz with AFD said. "So it got a lot more units here quickly."
A firefighter at the scene suffered a minor burn injury.
