FORT WORTH, Texas — A man was critically injured overnight after being struck by a vehicle, Fort Worth police say.
According to officials, a man in his 50s to 60s stepped out in front of a vehicle in the rain around 10:45 p.m. Wednesday near Evans Avenue and East Berry Street.
The victim was transported to the hospital with critical injuries, police say.
Detectives say the driver of the vehicle stopped. At this time, the Traffic Investigation Unit is still investigating the incident.
