FORNEY, Texas — A suspect, Steven Wright, was arrested on Friday and charged with sexual assault of a child for an incident that occurred on Oct. 27, Forney police said.
According to the Forney Police Department, detectives believe Wright supplied alcohol to minors during the incident and this then led to the sexual assault of the victim.
Forney PD said it worked with Kaufman County Street Crimes Task Force during this investigation and also served a search warrant at a home located at 500 Rosewood Drive for evidence related to the crime.
According to Forney PD, detectives believe there may be more victims and they are searching for information about this incident and any similar ones involving Wright.
