Irving just got more ‘Incredible.’

Bodybuilder and actor Lou Ferrigno, the original ‘Incredible Hulk,’ was sworn in Thursday as an honorary Irving police officer.

“Today @IrvingPDChief had the honor of swearing in @LouFerrigno as an honorary Irving police officer,” the department wrote on Twitter. “He is a big supporter of law enforcement and spoke to the Irving PAL kids about the importance of health & fitness. Thanks for stopping by and making our day! #Hulk”

Ferrigno, who was in town for the Texas Pinball Festival in Frisco over the weekend, was given an Irving PD badge and spoke to a group of children.

He was given an Incredible Hulk painting done by an Irving officer, too.

It's not the two-time Mr. Universe's first foray in law enforcement, either.

In 2006, Ferrigno joined the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department as a reserve deputy. He took the same title with the San Luis Obispo Sheriff’s Office in 2012. He’s also been named a special deputy with the Delaware County (Ohio) Sheriff’s Office.

Ferrigno’s father was a lieutenant with the New York Police Department.
