LEWISVILLE, Texas — A crash shut down Interstate 35E southbound through Lewisville early Thursday morning, officials said.
The crash was reported around 5 a.m. on I-35E at Farm Road 3040 (Round Grove Road), according to the Texas Department of Transportation.
The main southbound lanes on the highway were blocked, while a shoulder and two express lanes were cleared. There was no initial word from authorities on how the crash happened or how many vehicles were involved.
