Lake Ray Hubbard is on the East Fork of the Trinity River in Collin, Dallas, Kaufman and Rockwall counties.

Impounded in 1968, its surface area is 21,671 acres with a maximum depth of 40 feet.

It's the primary water source for Dallas but also enjoyed by sailing enthusiasts and fishing fans.

The lake is rated good for largemouth bass, white bass and crappie, and excellent for catfish and hybrid striped bass.
