DALLAS — Updated at 1:05 p.m. with additional information from police.
The body of a 72-year-old man was found early Tuesday in White Rock Lake, police said.
Officers and Dallas Fire-Rescue responded to a call about a body floating in water around 6:30 a.m.
The man has been identified as Billy Luther. His vehicle was found parked in the grass near Garland Road and Lawther Drive, police said.
Detectives told WFAA that no foul play is suspected.
Dallas police officials said the death will be labeled unexplained until an autopsy is completed.
