DALLAS — Jewish Family Services held a ribbon cutting for its newest health center in Dallas, meant to provide health care to North Texas residents.
The JFS Northpoint Health Center is in a 5,500-square-foot facility and has 10 examination rooms with dedicated spaces for behavioral health and counseling. Care provided at the center includes adult and pediatric annual physicals, cancer screenings, sick visits, behavioral health, routine men's and women's health exams, chronic disease management and other services.
JFS says data shows about 793,007 low-income residents in its service area lack a medical provider and either go without care or rely on hospital emergency rooms. This new center can meet immediate medical needs and also provide preventative care.
By 2028, JFS says it expects to serve about 55,000 individuals across its services.
The center will open to the public March 4 at 12606 Greenville Ave. Suite 200. For more information, click here.
