Irving police searching for 24-year-old woman reported missing

The Irving police department said Chalice Welch was last seen on Feb. 2.

IRVING, Texas — The Irving Police Department is investigating the report of a missing 24-year-old woman from Arlington.

Authorities said Chalice Welch was last seen on Friday, Feb. 2, in the 4600 block of State Highway 183. She reportedly has not had any contact with family or acquaintances since then either.

"She has never been away from her children for more than a few hours," said Chalice's mother Kimberly Spinks.

Welch's family says they want answers after Welch left a birthday party held at the Embassy Suites in Irving.

"She got dropped off at the party around 10:30 p.m. On Saturday morning around 1:00 a.m., her phone went offline," said Spinks.

Welch is a white female, is estimated to be 5 feet, 7 inches tall, and has brown hair and hazel eyes. She was last seen wearing a red jacket, black mesh shirt with polka dots, black leggings and leopard slippers.

In a statement, Irving police told WFAA in part "Unfortunately, we do not have other info to release at this time. we just ask everyone to share the post and to be on the lookout for Welch."
