Archive: WFAA investigations into Atmos gas leaks date back a decade

WFAA's investigative team has been covering Atmos Energy's pipeline failures for more than a decade.

Nearly 3,000 homes in Northwest Dallas are affected by a voluntary gas service outage while Atmos Energy addresses gas line issues that have cause multiple house explosions in the area.

A 12-year-old girl was killed in the third gas-related house fire or explosion in as many days Feb. 21-23.
