BURLESON, Texas — An incident involving an overturned 18-wheeler and a vehicle in the 2700 block of South I-35W on the northbound side in Burleson is causing big traffic problems Thursday. Officials estimate the 18-wheeler was carrying about 60,000 lbs. of watermelons.
Burleson fire crews and EMS responded to the scene, and officials say no one required hospitalization.
Burleson officials say one lane is open to traffic as crews work to clear the roadway. It’s estimated the roadway could be reopened within an hour.
