One University of North Texas student couldn't walk the stage at his graduation ceremony, but UNT's president made sure the student got his diploma.
Matthew Herrera was hit by a drunk driver just days before graduation, his family said.
While recovering in the hospital, Herrera got a special visitor: UNT president Neal J. Smatresk, who brought Herrera's diploma.
In a video in a tweet posted Saturday, Smatresk gives Herrera his degree while he is lying in a hospital bed.
