GRAYSON COUNTY, Texas — A 15-year-old was killed after he crashed his dirt bike into a truck on FM-1753 near Richerson Road in Grayson County Monday, officials said.
Grant Harris, 15, was riding a Yamaha TTR230 dirt bike northeast in a barrow ditch of FM-1753 near Richerson Road shortly before 3 p.m. Monday, tried to enter the roadway and hit a truck towing a trailer, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
Harris was taken to Medical City Plano, where he died from his injuries Tuesday, officials said.
The driver of the truck, a 32-year-old woman from Little Elm, wasn’t injured, officials said.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing, and Texas DPS didn’t provide more details.
