Garland resident claims $1 million scratch-off lottery ticket

GARLAND, Texas — A Garland resident won $1 million on the Texas Lottery scratch ticket game Millions Club, according to the Texas Lottery.

The winning ticket was sold at a Tom Thumb in the Arapaho Village Shopping Center in Richardson, officials say. The winner chose to remain anonymous and Texas Lottery officials didn’t say when the winning ticket was purchased.

It was the fourth of 10 top prizes worth $1 million to be claimed in the Millions Club game, which offers more than $161 million in total prizes, according to the Texas Lottery.
