A 15-year-old Quitman girl killed in an accident will be laid to rest on Sunday afternoon.
Skylar Carpenter was with a group of other students heading to a Future Farmers of America event in San Antonio on Thursday, but the SUV she and others were riding in rolled over near Canton.
Skylar was thrown from the vehicle and killed.
An investigation continues into why she may not have been wearing a seat belt.
The funeral is at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Chuch in Quitman, which is 77 miles east of Dallas.
