FORT WORTH, Texas — The Fort Worth Zoo announced it will participate in the Cliburn's new family concert series Wednesday, which will be hosted at several popular venues throughout the city.
In a release, the Fort Worth Zoo said "family-friendly" concerts will be at the Fort Worth Zoo, Fort Worth Stockyards and the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History.
Individual tickets and subscriptions for the all-new concert series are on sale here. According to the zoo, prices for individual tickets are $20 each or $75 for a family four-pack to one concert. You can purchase subscriptions to all three programs for $50 each or $200 for a family four-pack as well. The zoo said all tickets are general admission, but no tickets will be required for children under two years old.
“For several years, we have been thinking about how to give kids and their parents a way to enjoy classical music all together — in a presentation that would be completely magical and unforgettable for all ages, and could become an annual family tradition,” said Jacques Marquis, Cliburn president and CEO. “We are so pleased with how this has worked out: we have mesmerizing stories and, of course, the best music, matched with the perfect Fort Worth partners who each bring their own special savoir-faire. We can’t wait!”
