FORT WORTH, Texas — A Fort Worth resident shot someone who had allegedly trespassed into their home and assaulted them early Monday morning, police said.
The incident happened in the 2600 block of Museum Way, an apartment and townhome community near the West 7th area of Fort Worth.
Police said the homeowner alleged that someone was trespassing on their property and assaulting them. At some point during the incident, the homeowner shot the person, who was then taken to a hospital with a non-life-threatening injury, police said.
