FORT WORTH, Texas — Fort Worth police are looking for any witnesses of a deadly hit-and-run crash that happened on Feb. 2.
Police said the crash happened at about 2:30 p.m. that Friday in the 1700 of Interstate 30.
The unidentified victim told police that he was driving east on I-30 when an 18-wheeler moved into his lane and struck the left front of his vehicle, causing him to spin out and hit a guardrail.
Officials said the victim died in a hospital on Feb. 4. He was driving a gold Chevrolet two-door car when the crash happened, according to police.
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner's Office identified the victim as 82-year-old Charlie Jones, Jr.
No other information is available at this time.
