FORT WORTH, Texas — Fort Worth police are looking for a Toyota Tundra they say was involved in a hit-and-run crash that killed a woman last week near DFW Airport.
Two women were waiting on a tow truck after their vehicle slid off the roadway on Highway 183 near the airport at 7 p.m. Dec. 21, when a Toyota Tundra veered off the road and hit them both, police say.
Susan Simmons, 57, was pronounced dead at the scene, and the other woman was taken to a hospital with serious injuries, according to police.
Police say the Toyota Tundra left the scene without stopping. Those with any information about the incident are asked to call the Fort Worth Police Department at 817-392-4884.
