FORT WORTH, Texas — A North Texas man accused of exposing himself in a Fort Worth neighborhood has been arrested, police confirmed to WFAA on Tuesday.
The Fort Worth Police Department in a news release said it had arrested 25-year-old Larry Holloway and charged him with indecent exposure. The arrest comes after police said it was investigating reports from homeowners about a suspicious person in the community.
Holloway also reportedly entered Boswell High School on Jan. 22 "without following visitor protocols," according to police and a letter sent from the principal to parents, while "students were coming in from the bus drop off lanes but left the campus quickly after."
Eagle-Mountain Saginaw Independent School District Police searched the nearby neighborhoods but did not find him, the letter said. Then, later that afternoon, he was let back into the building by a student during 8th period, and he was quickly identified by a staff member and apprehended by our campus officers, who issued a criminal trespass warning, according to the principal's letter.
"At no time did this individual make any verbal or physical threats to our students, staff or campus. When questioned, this individual stated he wanted to see how the building had changed and maybe visit a few of his former teachers. While we appreciate and welcome our alumni to visit, we do require all visitors to follow our visitor protocols as a safety measure for all our Pioneers, past and present," the letter read. "The safety of the Pioneer Family is our top priority at Boswell High School, and we will continue to remain vigilant on campus. Please partner with us in reminding students that at no time is it acceptable to let an individual into our building and all visitors must check into the front office before being allowed on campus. We thank our students, staff, and parents for reporting this matter to us. Safety is everyone’s responsibility and it is important that we always "see something, say something” so that, together, we maintain a safe and secure environment for all."
Fort Worth police said, according to security video, Holloway never acted inappropriately nor did he come in direct contact with any students. Since there was no actual crime committed on school district property, EMS police could not arrest Holloway but did issue a criminal trespass warning effective for every campus in the district. EMS PD also shared information with Fort Worth PD to assist with any community reports they may have received.
Fort Worth police said on March 5 that as a result of the public’s information and leads received, officers executed a warrant and arrested Holloway.
Holloway was booked into the Tarrant County Jail on a warrant for Indecent Exposure, police said.
