EVERMAN, Texas — A missing girl from Everman has been found safe and unharmed, police announced Tuesday.
WFAA has removed her name from the story, as she is a juvenile and the circumstances of her disappearance are not fully known.
The release said the 13-year-old girl ran away from home Sunday morning around 11:30 a.m. She snuck out of her bedroom window and got into a truck "with unknown occupants," police said.
Everman police officials said they had no reason to believe the girl was harmed but considered her a "high-risk" runaway missing person.
More information about the case was not released.
