FORT WORTH It's official: Fort Worth ISD has a new leader.
Trustees approved hiring Walter Dansby as the district's next superintendent on Tuesday night.
Dansby was named the lone finalist for the position last month. He has been with Fort Worth ISD for 38 years, working as a coach, teacher, principal and administrator.
