FORT WORTH For the second time in as many days, Fort Worth emergency responders were dealing with a serious head-on collision, and alcohol use was again cited as a factor.

Saturday's crash happened around 7:20 p.m. in the 3200 block of West Seminary Drive.

The Fort Worth Fire Department said four people were in the two vehicles, including two children, ages three and four, in one of the cars.

A witness rescued the children, who had been riding in the back seat without proper restraints. The adult drivers had to be extricated from the wreckage.

All four were taken to hospitals for treatment.

One of the drivers, identified by police as 23-year-old Josue Antonio Adame of Fort Worth, was jailed after being treated at John Peter Smith Hospital. He was charged with intoxication assault.

Another head-on crash Friday afternoon on Mitchell Boulevard left two teenagers dead and six other people injured.
