North Texas resident wins $1 million from Texas Lottery scratch-off ticket

DENTON, Texas — A North Texas resident recently claimed a top-prize winning ticket worth $1 million in the Texas Lottery scratch ticket game Millionaire Maker, lottery officials say.

The Denton resident, who chose to stay anonymous, bought the winning ticket at a Horizon Food Mart store in the 1200 block of E. University Drive.

It was the seventh of 15 top prizes worth $1 million to be claimed in the Millionaire Maker game, which offers more than $200 million in total prizes, lottery officials say.
