DENTON, Texas — A 23-year-old man was indicted on sex assault and trafficking charges after authorities say he held a 15-year-old girl against her will at a Denton apartment.

Jordan Hagen was indicted Thursday on six felonies, according to a news release from Denton police: Two counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child, trafficking of persons, indecency with a child, online solicitation of a minor and possession of promotion of lewd visual material.

The case stems from Hagen's arrest on Aug. 22.

Denton police said Frisco police had contacted them about a missing girl out of Frisco. The victim had reported she was in Denton "with a man who would not let her leave his apartment," the release said.

This led officers to an apartment in the 1700 block of West Oak Street, where police found the victim and Hagen.

Hagen was arrested and the victim was taken to a hospital for evaluation, police said.

Investigators later learned that Hagen and the victim met on Chatib, an online chat room, and also talked through the messaging app Session, police said.

Hagen picked up the victim in Frisco and took her to his apartment in Denton, according to the news release.

Hagen has remained in the Denton County Jail since his arrest. His bond is set at $325,000.
