DENTON, Texas — A single-engine Piper PA-32 "safely landed in a field" after the pilot reported engine issues while departing Denton Enterprise Airport Wednesday afternoon, according to the FAA.
The crash happened at approximately 11:40 a.m. Wednesday, the FAA said.
The Denton Fire Department said the one person on board the aircraft is OK.
Chopper footage showed the plane in the field with a fire department truck parked behind it.
