DALLAS — Dallas officials are calling for help to identify a man whose body was found in the Trinity River last month.
Police say someone called them after seeing the man floating in the river on Jan. 18. The department released a description of him along with photos of multiple tattoos.
The man was believed to be either white or Hispanic, according to police. He was 5 feet 7 inches tall and had a "surgically amputated right hand," police said.
The following four tattoos are shown in pictures from Dallas police:
- The name "Anthony Luna" around a smiling crescent moon on his right shoulder
- "Jose" on left hand knuckles
- Rosary on his left hand and arm
- Woman on left side of his torso
