IRVING, Texas — Two crashes were delaying traffic along Texas 183 through Irving on Friday morning, officials said.
The crashes were both in the eastbound lanes, near Spur 482 and Loop 12, according to Irving Fire Department officials, who were responding to the incidents around 6 a.m.
At least one of the crashes involved someone who was injured, but more information was not immediately available.
The crash on eastbound 183 at Spur 482, as traffic heads into Dallas, appeared to be causing the biggest backups. Two main lanes were blocked with only the shoulder getting by, according to the Texas Department of Transportation.
The crash was initially reported around 5:30 a.m.
