DALLAS — A woman was killed and a man critically injured in a crash and shooting in northeast Dallas on Monday night, police said.
Officers had responded a little before 10 p.m. to a report of a shooting at Walnut Hill Lane and Wickersham Road, near Interstate 635, according to a police news release. When they arrived, they found a vehicle that had crashed and a man and woman were shot inside the car.
Dallas Fire-Rescue responded and took the man to a hospital, where he was in critical condition. The woman died at the scene.
The victims' names have not been released. More information about how the shooting and crash happened was not released.
