DALLAS — The Dallas Police Department says an argument led to the fatal shooting of a 25-year-old man in northeast Dallas on Sunday night.
DPD said officers initially were called to a shooting in the 9600 block of Skillman Street at about 8:30 p.m. When officers arrived to the area, they found a man, identified as Jamarkus Homes, shot in the parking lot of a business in the 10300 block of Forest Lane, near Skillman Street. Homes died from his injury at the scene, police said.
DPD said the investigation determined that Homes got into an argument with an unknown male suspect, and the suspect shot Homes.
No arrest have been made. The investigation is ongoing, police said.
