DALLAS — A Dallas resident turned a $50 scratch-off lottery ticket into a $5 million prize.

Texas Lottery officials on Monday announced that the winning ticket in a Luxe scratch-off game had been claimed. Officials didn't say when the ticket was purchased, but it was bought at the 7-Eleven in the 6200 block of Hillcrest Avenue in University Park, across from SMU.

The $5 million prize is the top one available in the Luxe game, and the Dallas winner was the first of four $5 million tickets in the game.

Three other $5 million tickets remain unclaimed.

The Luxe game has also seen six $10,000 winners, 378 $1,000 winners and 7,319 $500 winners. Lottery officials estimate there are around 6 million tickets in the game, with a grand total of $236.7 million in total prizes.
