DALLAS — A crash and fuel spill shut down eastbound lanes of Interstate 20 in Dallas County on Thursday morning, officials said.

The crash was reported around 10:30 a.m. on I-20 near Cockrell Hill Road, near U.S. 67, according to the Dallas County Sheriff's Office.

An overturned tractor-trailer and a fuel spill were blocking all lanes and diverting traffic off the highway at Cockrell Hill Road.

Officials said the driver was reportedly OK, but the incident was causing heavy traffic backups in the area.

All lanes reopened around 2:35 p.m., DCSO said.
