Dallas western clothing store catches fire overnight

A check-cashing business next door was also damaged in the fire, but no injuries were reported.

DALLAS — A fire broke out overnight at a western clothing store in Dallas' Oak Lawn area, officials said.

The fire started around 2 a.m. behind El Durango at Maple Avenue and Lucas Drive, according to Dallas Fire-Rescue officials. A check-cashing business next door was also damaged in the fire, but no injuries were reported.

Dallas Fire-Rescue crews were able to get the fire under control by 2:48 a.m. Officials don't yet know the cause of the fire.
