DALLAS — An 18-wheeler spilled part of its load on Interstate 20 westbound at U.S. 175 on Friday around noon, backing up traffic for around two hours.
The lanes were cleared and re-opened by 1:40 p.m.
Hazmat responded to the scene and cleanup efforts were still underway around 1:30 p.m. The spill was also causing a big backup on Interstate 635 southbound/eastbound for drivers headed toward Interstate 20.
Traffic begins slowing on 635 at Lake June. Two lanes on Interstate 20 were closed since 11:40 this morning. There was no immediate word on what caused the crash.
