DALLAS — The Dallas Police Department said one person died and another was injured in a crash just outside of downtown Dallas on Wednesday night.
According to police, officers responded to the crash at South Cesar Chavez Boulevard and Marilla Street around 11:50 p.m.
Police say the preliminary investigation revealed that the vehicle had lost control and crashed into a wall.
According to police, the Dallas Fire Department arrived to the scene and was able to take the passenger to a local hospital. However, the passenger later died, police say.
The driver is in stable condition, DPD said.
The crash is still a part of an ongoing investigation, according to police.
