DALLAS — One person was killed in a crash near Preston and Arapaho roads in far north Dallas early Monday, police said.
The victim was identified as 22-year-old Christopher Sanchez, according to the Dallas County medical examiner.
The crash happened shortly before 2 a.m. along the 5900 block of Arapaho Road, near Preston Road, police said. An SUV took out a light pole, crashed and then landed against another light pole. Sanchez, a passenger, was killed at the scene, police said.
The driver was taken to a hospital for treatment.
