DALLAS — A car crashed into a vet clinic in North Dallas on Tuesday morning, officials said.
The incident happened at the Cornerstone Animal Clinic in the 11900 block of Preston Road, just north of Forest Lane, around 8:45 a.m.
Two people were injured and taken to a local treatment, police say, as a vehicle drove through multiple interior walls, according to Dallas Fire-Rescue.
Officials did not immediately know how the crash happened, but firefighters on the scene reported that it was an accident.
The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with police.
Dallas Fire-Rescue crews were responding to the scene to assess the building's structural integrity. But officials did not initially expect any structural problems, as the walls that were crashed into were not load-bearing.
