DALLAS — A Dallas police officer was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated Friday, police confirmed.
Senior Corporal James Goetz, who was off duty at the time, was arrested by the Pilot Point Police Department, officials say.
Goetz has worked with the police department since August of 2008 and is assigned to its Investigations Bureau, according to police.
Goetz is on administrative leave pending the outcome of an internal affairs administrative investigation.
