DALLAS — A 59-year-old man has been charged by the Dallas Police Department with the killing of a man who was found shot last Thursday.
Police were called about the shooting Thursday in the 400 block of Bluewood Drive. Upon arrival, they say they found the victim, 56-year-old Timothy Gantt, shot. Gantt was taken a hospital in critical condition and died from his injuries on March 18, police say.
Further investigation identified the suspect, Benjamin Edwards, who was already in the Dallas County Jail on another charge, officials said. Police charged Edwards with murder.
