Dallas North Tollway closures start for bridge repair work

The first of two weekend closures of parts of the Dallas North Tollway for a bridge repair project started this weekend.

DALLAS — Portions of the Dallas North Tollway are closed for bridge repair work this weekend.

The Dallas North Tollway closures through 5 a.m. Monday include:

  • All southbound lanes from I-635 to Royal Lane
  • East and westbound I-635 to southbound tollway direct-connector ramps
  • Southbound Harvest Hill Road, Inwood Road, and Forest Lane entrance ramps
  • The southbound Royal Lane exit ramp
  • The northbound left lane of the tollway from Royal Lane to Forest Lane

Dallas North Tollway closures from 10 p.m. March 22 until 5 a.m. March 25 include:

  • All southbound lanes of the tollway from I-635 to Royal Lane
  • East and westbound I-635 to southbound tollway connector ramps
  • Southbound Harvest Hill Road, Inwood Road, and Forest Lane entrance ramps
  • The southbound Royal Lane exit ramp
  • The northbound left lane of the tollway from Royal Lane to Forest Lane

Closures through mid-April include:

  • All lanes of east and westbound Northaven Road over the Dallas North Tollway

Detours:

  • Those seeking to go eastbound on Northaven Road during the construction will turn north on Inwood Road, right on Forest Lane, right again on Preston Road and continue onto Northaven Road
  • Those seeking to go westbound on Northaven Road during the construction will turn north on Preston Road, left on Forest Lane, left again on Inwood Road, and continue onto Northaven Road
