COPPELL, Texas — Trader Joe's newest DFW store opened in Coppell Wednesday, marking the first Trader Joe's to enter the market in eight years.
The 11,500-square-foot store is located at 120 South Denton Tap Road. It will be the 20th Trader Joe's store to open in Texas, according to a press release.
The store opened with a brief ribbon-cutting before welcoming waiting customers. The store will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.
The store's interior will highlight local landmarks including Coppell High School, Bethel Road, the city's water tower and the historic railroad depot, according to the release.
The store will hire about 45 new crew members to staff the store, and the company is still accepting applications.
