DALLAS — What intended to be a sit-in at NorthPark Center Sunday spilled onto the sidewalk outside when security didn't allow demonstrators inside.
The group chanted, “All power to the people, too Black too strong - no justice no peace" and was organized outside the main entrance of the mall.

Shortly after the initial demonstration, which remained peaceful, a counter group showed up.
Some of the additional protesters displayed American and Confederate flags. The counter group told News 8’s Demond Fernandez they were tired of the Black Lives Matter movement.
