DALLAS — A large plume of smoke climbed into the sky Sunday evening after an auto shop caught fire in Northwest Dallas, per Dallas Fire-Rescue.
According to fire officials, they received a call around 4:20 p.m. on Sunday about an auto shop that had caught fire at 10405 Denton Drive in Northwest Dallas. DFR officials said 40 to 45 firefighters are working to drown the fire out. DFR said no injuries have been reported.
Multiple people have caught photos and videos of the fire, which can be easily seen from the surrounding area.
WFAA has reached out to Love Field officials to see if the smoke and fire are causing any delays. A spokesperson for the airport said they have no reports of impact on DAL operations.
